USA introduces cigarette recycling

A study in America found that cigarette waste accounted for 38% of all USA roadway litter. A tabacco company is funding a recycling program that will see the filters turned into plastic used to make shipping pallets, railroad ties and park benches. The paper and tobacco also will be composted.
